About MaxDPS.com
The founder of the original MaxDPS.com rebuilt this website for WoW Forever. The old site’s history does not verify new game advice. This site is independent, is not endorsed by Blizzard Entertainment, and is not a similarly named addon or gameplay automation product.
What you can use now
Browse classes and specializations, compare every item in the game files using editable preliminary stat weights, look up items, dungeons, raids and bosses in the game database, and read dungeon pages built from the game files and the live game. A weighted item score is not simulated DPS. The number of reviewed profiles is shown on the homepage.
Published guidance identifies its game build, level range, evidence and limitations. Source changes can flag it for another review. Imported records and historical MaxDPS material do not become recommendations automatically. Read how the scores work before treating a comparison as advice.
