Your combat loop

Prepare and open
Maintain Fortitude and Inner Fire. Open with Mind Blast, then Shadow Word: Pain.
Spend selectively
Devouring Plague is expensive. Use talented Mind Flay when worthwhile; a good wand often reduces low-level downtime.
Vampiric Embrace
If talented, use its healing and Spirit Tap interaction for recovery.

General guidance, not a simulated optimal rotation. Use trained spells and talents you chose. Talent milestones assume ordinary points; Legacy can move them earlier. Weights are editable MaxDPS estimates, not measured DPS or HPS.

Shared utility and earlier specialization tools

Fear Ward and Devouring Plague are available to every Priest race at level 20. Divine Spirit is trained at 30. Discipline can talent Penance; Holy can talent Holy Binding, which heals you when Flash Heal heals an ally. Keep their talent requirements separate from baseline training.

Gnome Priest is one of the new race and class combinations in Forever.
