How to play at level 60
Your combat loop

Arcane Blast
If talented, start with one cast; avoid expensive stacks on ordinary quest enemies.

Clear the stacks
Follow with Arcane Missiles or a suitable non-Blast spell. Keep a wand for cheap finishes.
3
Missile Barrage
If talented, spend the proc on Arcane Missiles. Without a proc, Fire Blast can reset stacks instead of chasing an expensive one.
Levels 31–60 extend the level-30 class guides we draw on and have not been checked in play. Use trained spells and talents you chose. Talent milestones assume ordinary points; Legacy can move them earlier. Weights are editable MaxDPS estimates, not measured DPS or HPS.

Arcane gains Arcane Blast and Missile Barrage. Frost gains Ice Lance and Fingers of Frost. Fire’s Heating Up changes Pyroblast casting and is not Retail Hot Streak. Manage mana instead of importing a rotation from another edition.
Orc Mages join the roster. Alliance Skyborne can also become Mages.
