How to play at level 60

Your combat loop

Imbue and auto attack
Use a strong weapon and an appropriate imbue. Shocks help pull and finish; avoid exhausting mana.
Stormstrike
If talented, use selectively so you still have mana to heal.
Grouped enemies
Use a Fire Totem and Fire Nova when the group can safely hold the enemies.
Windfury or Flametongue
Slow two-handed Windfury and fast one-handed Flametongue with a shield are documented leveling setups.

Levels 31–60 extend the level-30 class guides we draw on and have not been checked in play. Use trained spells and talents you chose. Talent milestones assume ordinary points; Legacy can move them earlier. Weights are editable MaxDPS estimates, not measured DPS or HPS.

Core ability focus

Two-hand weapon or one-hand weapon with a shield; choose the matching imbue. Class proficiencies are assumed trained. Lower armor tiers remain available.

Default stat priorities

Each reported stat × its weight, added together. Weights are tuning choices, not game coefficients. Ratings stay in source units; no percentage conversion is assumed. Changes last for this page visit.

Choosing gear at this level

Keep your damage weapon current. Compare speed and effects as well as score; one two-hander and two one-handers are not equivalent comparisons.

Weapon choices, mana and support

Two-handed axes and maces are baseline proficiencies. Enhancement’s Intellect talents add attack power or spell power when chosen. Slow two-hand and fast one-hand-plus-shield leveling setups are documented; match the imbue to the setup. Totemic Recall and Totemic Call improve totem handling.

Dwarf Shamans bring the class to the Alliance. Horde Skyborne can also become Shamans.
