How to play at level 60

Your combat loop

Control incoming damage
Keep Battle Shout active. Use Rend and attack-speed reduction on enemies that will live long enough.
React and recover
Use Overpower when available and Victory Rush after a qualifying kill.
Sweeping Strikes
If talented, use it for nearby enemies; keep rage for your next attack.
Mortal Strike
If talented, build your loop around it. Use Slam only when its cast will not disrupt weapon swings.

Levels 31–60 extend the level-30 class guides we draw on and have not been checked in play. Use trained spells and talents you chose. Talent milestones assume ordinary points; Legacy can move them earlier. Weights are editable MaxDPS estimates, not measured DPS or HPS.

Core ability focus

Two-hand melee build; ranged equipment is a stat source. Class proficiencies are assumed trained. Lower armor tiers remain available.

Default stat priorities

Weapon melee DPS3.00
Strength1.00
Hit1.00
Critical strike0.80
Agility0.60
Haste0.60

Points per stat point, used for the gear scores below. Starter weights balance the stats used by this build.

Adjust stat priorities Starter defaults

Each reported stat × its weight, added together. Weights are tuning choices, not game coefficients. Ratings stay in source units; no percentage conversion is assumed. Changes last for this page visit.

Choosing gear at this level

Keep your damage weapon current. Compare speed and effects as well as score; one two-hander and two one-handers are not equivalent comparisons.

Rage and leveling attacks

Rage from your attacks follows the speed of the weapon that dealt the damage, and critical strikes give extra rage. Keep weapons current for damage, and check which abilities you have trained before copying an endgame rotation at a low level.

Skyborne Warriors are available to both factions.
